When Esperanza goes to see Elenita the fortuneteller, she has a specific and very important question about her future. She doesn’t ask if she will be rich or marry a wealthy man, but instead asks about a house.
Imagine that you are going to visit a fortuneteller. If you could only ask one question, what specifically would you want to know? Explain why you chose this to be the most important question you need to have answered.

I don't believe in Fortuneteller! They are a waste of time and money if god really wanted you to know your future he would make it to wear you can see it but i think fortunetellers are just stupid....
i don't believe in fortunetellers cause they are not real. there just a scam to get people to pay them money.
If i went to see a fortune teller, I would ask if i was going to be successful. I would want to know what I've done with my life. Am I famous? Am I a mother? I believe that this is a very legit question.

I don't really believe in fortune tellers, but it would be awesome to see what your future is like, or if you're going to have a family. I think just about everyone would want to know what there future is like so they can prepare for it.
If i went to a fortune teller, I would ask if I would get a well paying job. This would be an important question because I would like to know if I'm going to be successful.

If I could ask a question about my future, I must admit, I probably wouldn't, simply because the best things are surprises. I am happy not knowing what is coming my way in life, because it could be good or bad, and I don't want to be afraid or over excited about anything, I'd rather wait and see what things come my way in life.

Kaitlyn, that is a very good question to ask, because then you could be prepared for what was coming your way in life, or you can travel down the path that leads you there where you wanna be.

Anjelle, I agree and disagree with your comment, because some may not want to know their future, they may want to be surprised by what is to come later on in their life. I agree, because sometimes it would be nice to know what was coming, maybe if you were waiting on something and your not a patient person. Either way, you made a good point.

I probably wouldn't ask a question to the fortune teller, because I don't believe that that stuff works. I think it just gets your hopes up for something that may not come true.
Haley Hempel- If I went to a fourtune teller Iwould ask if I would ever get to Know my half brother i may have seen three times but never get to know.
If I went to the fortuneteller I would ask her who I will I marry when I get older and how many kids I'm going to have when I get older and if the kids are going to be healthy.

well i know they arent people who can really tell whats going to happen in your future or whatever but if i was going to go see one and they did know the future then i would want to know what was going to happen in the future and a few other things that i will NOT tell anyone else.....
