Tuesday, September 27th - FOOD Traditions

We're going to continue our discussion of family traditions today. Yesterday, Kourtney said: "Family traditions are what your family does that is different from most families. The special things that bonds your families together."   Using Kourtney's definition, let's discuss specific traditional food items that are unique to your family.

In your explanation, provide a brief description of the food item, when it's served, who generally makes it, etc. Then, respond to at least one other classmate's response. To receive full credit, your responses have to include the person you're referring to and some sort of CONSTRUCTIVE response.

Think about the following statement: Traditions are the glue that holds families and groups together. Do you agree with this statement? Why or why not? Explain your answer using specific examples that describe your own experiences.
Once you have submitted your response, read the comments of others and share your thoughts on their traditions. When you respond to a comment, type that person's name at the beginning of your reply.
